River Rock Bed Restoration
Full removal, weed and root clearing, fabric replacement, grading, and clean reinstallation. We do it right — no shortcuts.
The Problem
Why River Rock Beds Need Real Restoration
Over time, river rock beds become a mess. Weeds push through degraded landscape fabric, roots work their way under the rock, soil and debris mix in with the stone, and the whole bed starts to look neglected. Raking the surface doesn't fix it. Spraying weeds doesn't fix it. The only real solution is to pull everything out, clear the ground properly, replace the fabric, and reinstall the rock correctly.
That's exactly what we do. Our river rock restoration process is thorough, labor-intensive, and done by hand. We don't cut corners because cutting corners is what created the problem in the first place.
Step by Step
Our Process
Full Rock Removal
We remove all existing river rock by hand and stage it off to the side. Every stone comes out so we can access the ground beneath.
Weed, Root & Debris Clearing
We clear all weeds, roots, and compacted debris from the bed. This is the step most crews skip — we don't.
Landscape Fabric Replacement
Old, degraded fabric is removed and replaced with new commercial-grade landscape fabric, properly overlapped and secured.
Grading & Soil Prep
We grade the bed to ensure proper drainage and a level surface before any rock goes back in.
Clean Reinstallation
Rock is reinstalled evenly and cleanly. Edges are defined. The finished bed looks the way it should.
Our Standards
What Makes This Different
Done by hand
We don't use shortcuts or equipment that damages your beds. Every rock is moved by hand.
Commercial-grade fabric
We use proper landscape fabric — not the cheap stuff that breaks down in two seasons.
Proper drainage grading
We grade the bed before reinstalling so water drains correctly and doesn't pool.
Clean job site
We haul away all debris and leave your property cleaner than we found it.
