Our Approach

Installation Done on a Clean Foundation

Dumping mulch or rock on top of an unprepared bed is a waste of money. Within a season, weeds push through, the material shifts, and you're back to where you started. We don't work that way.

Before any material goes in, we clear the bed, address any weed or root issues, and make sure the foundation is right. Then we install the mulch or decorative rock evenly, define the edges cleanly, and leave the bed looking sharp.

Step by Step

How We Do It

01

Bed Assessment & Prep

We assess the existing bed condition, clear debris and weeds, and address any drainage or grading issues before installation.

02

Fabric Check or Replacement

If existing landscape fabric is degraded, we replace it. Good fabric is the difference between a bed that holds and one that doesn't.

03

Material Installation

Mulch or decorative rock is installed at the correct depth — evenly spread, no thin spots, no piling against plant stems or structures.

04

Edge Definition

We define the bed edges cleanly so the finished result looks intentional and sharp.

05

Cleanup

We clean up the job site completely. No material left on driveways, walkways, or lawn areas.

Material Options

Mulch or Rock — We Install Both

Organic Mulch

Shredded hardwood, cedar, or bark mulch. Retains moisture, suppresses weeds, and breaks down to improve soil over time.

Decorative Rock

Pea gravel, crushed granite, lava rock, and other decorative stone options. Low maintenance and long-lasting.

River Rock

Smooth, rounded river rock in a range of sizes. Classic look with excellent drainage.
